I can't quite put my finger on it, but the synth tones at the start of this song give me the feeling of waking up on a beach with the waves washing over you, like the opening scene of Inception. Fits into the general aquatic theme of the album.

Haunting synth tones on this. Sounds like video game music from a ghost level, like some Luigi's Haunted Mansion music, but in a good way.

Part of that haunted sound comes from the tremolo effect I think, kind of like the intro to album art for THE DINERTHE DINER

The opening #synth here reminds me a lot of a few tracks off a video game OST - album art for Seeds of the CrownSeeds of the Crown, album art for Wisdom's TragedyWisdom's Tragedy, and album art for The Last GeneralThe Last General come to mind

I think this song has the same chord progression as album art for Ode To The MetsOde To The Mets. It has the same somber, reflective vibe as well

God, the #choir over the synths sounds heavenly. This is the most emotional Strokes song I've ever heard, it almost reminds me of album art for Human SadnessHuman Sadness, one of my favorite songs of all time by the singer's side project.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure the choir sound is a choir - it could totally be a synth.

The production on this entire album reminds me of the production on A Moon Shaped Pool, particularly tracks like album art for DaydreamingDaydreaming. They create this underwater feeling through the use of spaced out synths, heavily reverbed guitar tracks, and airy keys

borderline ASMR feelings from those raindrop noises

great #synth tones

love that it continues the #melody off of album art for DreamDream

the #synth #solo on this plays slightly outside in a way that shouldn't be too crazy to #transcribe

could be an easy starting point for trying to learn more harmonically adventurous solos

absolute banger of a #bass line

The repeating #synth #riff towards the end of the song is so incredibly catchy

Reminds me a little of the synth riff off album art for Plastic LovePlastic Love

The #synth #riff that happens during the first verse is so catchy

Great #guitar #solo as well

Incredible #bass on this. So groovy, changes throughout the song but always stays in the pocket

Want to #transcribe it
