I really like the start of this song! It starts with a synth and a guitar line that is extremely dissonant from the synth part, before the synth part disappears and the main part of the song comes in, which the guitar part fits perfectly into.

In general, I think it's really cool when a song starts with a part that doesn't make sense on its own before adding a part that makes more context.

album art for Time & PlaceTime & Place does something similar, except with rhythm - it opens with a guitar riff on its own, before adding a drum part that completely changes how you perceive that guitar part rhythmically.
