this entire album is a masterpiece and makes me want to purchase a baritone guitar, but i love this song especially
harmonically very aimless (to my everyman ear) until 6 minutes in (don’t have an exact timestamp) when it starts to “coalesce” into a blues. i had an aha moment when i heard it. julian lage does something similar on his cover of someday my prince will come: Someday My Prince Will Come: Julian Lage and Bill Frisell
