every time i listen to a song and think "what a cool time signature" and it turns out to not be an odd time signature, it's usually because the song is in 6/4
6/4 is weird enough to feel fresh without feeling alienating like 5/4 or 7/4. i want to play with 6/4 more
this song isn't all 6/4, the first verse alternates 6/4 and 8/4 and then it gets really weird later

i found this band entirely by accident and i love their sound so much, it's so cool. it's 2 keyboard players and a drummer and they play the weirdest grooves and all the keyboard lines are so intricate
i desperately want to play in a band that sounds like this
when i walk around nyc listening to their music i feel like i can walk through walls
