i was first drawn to this track because i recognized al di meola but after listening to paco de lucia's rendering of

he's a flamenco player and plays all the fast runs on this song with alternating index/middle finger movement. his playing would be unfathomably fast for someone playing with a pick; i genuinely have no idea how it's possible to play this fast using your fingers.
