i remember listening to this song when i was 16, in Davis for a model UN competition, when i was getting on the train to go home. when i later went to UC Davis for university, id also listen to this song while at the train station waiting to go home
listening to this song always conjures a vivid memory: i’m at the Davis train station looking at a tree, and the pueblo style building and benches near it. the sun is sifting through the leaves
always fills me with a nostalgia that borders on painful

i love how they use a piano and delay/loopers to create such beautiful sonic textures on this song and album
