I listened to this song a ton as a senior in college, so it always evokes feelings of senioritis in me.

One of my first memories is listening to this song play as one of the demo tracks on my dad's electric keyboard when I was like 5 or 6

I have a distinct memory of playing this on the drive back home from college during Thanksgiving break my senior year. The song came on during a stretch of highway in the East Bay, and I remember looking at the sea of tail lights ahead and the houses on the rolling hills in the distance.

Listening now, it brings back all those feelings - the gratitude of Thanksgiving, the feeling of being in a transitional period (I was close to finishing college), the warm feeling of going home to see family, the bittersweet feeling of knowing this might be one of the last times I made that drive.

I love how the rhythm guitar cuts from a busy strumming pattern into a spacey reverbed echo after the first chorus.

My friend Michael plays bass in this band. He was one of the first people I met that encouraged me to take music more seriously, and he introduced me to my school's guitar club. We used to jam on Fridays on a parking garage when the weather was warm.

Those are some of my fondest memories from college.

This song and album art for BeaconBeacon are musically different, but have a similar vibe because they're both about caring about your friends

This song came on during one of the orientation events my freshman year, and I remember thinking to myself, "Christ, this song has such a summer vibe. I'm going to miss this."

POV: It's the summer after your freshman year of college, you just got your driver's license (yes I know that's late), you're driving back from your chill 3-day a week internship to a hike, and this song comes on right as the sun starts to set over the Bay Area mountains

Really great example of a song slowly building up energy into a climax.

Used to listen to this song every day on the #g-train on the way home from #Recurse during the summer.

In the movie, this score plays during a montage where the characters are searching for a dumpling restaurant. It's a transitional scene, and I watched the movie during the second semester of my senior year of high school, a transitional period of my life.

Ever since, I've associated this song with transitional periods of my life - summer breaks, unemployed weeks before starting a new job, etc. etc.
